Educational Qualification

Master degree in relevant subject of Agricultural faculty with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade 6.50 in 10 point scales with good academic record.

For the candidates having Master degree, NET (National Eligibility Test) shall remain compulsory along with one publication in NAAS rated referred journal for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor and equivalent in the disciplines in which NET is conducted.

Essentiality of NET can be waved off for the candidates holding Ph.D. degree provided it has been done with course work as prescribed by UGC Regulation 2009 and the candidate has at least two full length publications having a NAAS rating not less than 4, on the last date of submission of application. Those candidates with Ph.D. degree without course work will not quality for NET exemption.

Only qualified individuals will be hired for the temporary position of guest or part-time teachers will not be able to use this experience to claim a normal appointment any position published by the Raipur-based Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (C.G).

Appointment of guest teacher is temporary for academic session 202I-22 only. In the event if eligible candidates are not available as per eligibility criteria as mentioned above, candidates have PG degree in relevant subject may be considered for part time teacher on period basis for only one semester of current academic session on approval of competent authority.

Candidates' services may be withdrawn with one week's notice if the performance of the selected candidates is determined to be unsatisfactory. If any of the qualifications a candidate claims are discovered to be false, they will be removed from their positions.

Candidates will not receive any TA or DA for attending the interview.

The age restriction is 40 years. According to CG Government regulations, candidates who are OBC, SC, or ST would receive a five (05) year relaxation.
