During the EDP, candidates will learn about basic business concepts such as business plan formation, market strategy, account management, and a variety of other relevant topics.

"Today is International Women's Day, and there couldn't be a better day to launch a program for aspiring female women entrepreneurs.  This scheme will help them to earn a dignified livelihood,” maintained Anil Koul, Director JKEDI.

The scheme's focus is on providing financial assistance to young women for the establishment of profitable self-employment ventures that are tailored to their skills, training, aptitude, and local conditions. The female entrepreneurs shall be facilitated to avail financial assistance under Mudra loan from J&K Bank to the extent of Rs.5.00 lakh.

Mission Youth, J&K shall provide an amount of Rs.50000 or 10% of project cost (whichever is minimum) as subsidy.

In addition, Mission Youth will support the loan's interest component as a special incentive. This initiative will improve their socioeconomic status and lead to women's involvement in nation building.
