One of the most awaited products of the year, the Kia Seltos compact SUV has been launched in India with prices starting at Rs. 9.69 lakh for the base petrol, and up to Rs. 15.99 lakh for the range-topping diesel. It is important to mention that The Seltos is South Korean carmaker Kia's very first product in the country and was first showcased as the SP Concept at Auto Expo 2018. The company has invested 2 billion dollar in its India operations & the model is being manufactured at a facility in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh that cater to both domestic & export demands.
Kia Seltos has been introduced in 2 trims i.e. Tech Line & GT Line. There are 5 variants (HT E, HT K, HT K Plus, HT X & HT X Plus) in Tech Line while 3 (GT K, GT X and GT X Plus) in GT Line.

Moreover Kia Seltos features 3 engines and there is a 1.5-litre petrol motor making 115 PS & 144 Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre VGT diesel mill turns out 115 PS & 250 Nm of torque. The 1.4-litre Turbo GDI petrol powertrain also delivers 140 PS & 242 Nm of torque. A standard 6-speed manual gearbox is given with the three engines. In addition, the automatic options consist of IVT in 1.5-litre petrol, 6-speed AT in 1.5-litre VGT diesel & 7-speed DCT in 1.4-litre Turbo GDI petrol.
