National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) is inviting candidates to apply for the role of consultant through an online walk-in interview for their Centre for Agriculture Extension Policy, PPP, and International Centre of Excellence in the Agricultural Extension department.

Candidates should go through the following job details to learn more about the position:

Name of the position: Consultant

Place of work: MANAGE, Hyderabad

Duration: The selected candidate will be hired for one year initially but the duration will be extended further based on performance.

Age limit: Candidates should be between the age of 28-64 years

Monthly Salary: A consolidated remuneration of Rs 42,000/-

Qualification Required:

Candidate should have either one of these qualifications to successfully apply for the job: M Sc (Agricultural Extension)/ M Sc (Agriculture Economics)/ M Sc (Agriculture Business Management)/ Agri Marketing

Desirable Qualification: Ph.D. (Agricultural Extension)/ Agriculture Economics/ Agriculture Business Management/ Agri Marketing

Required Skills:

  • Work experience with initiatives financed by the Central government such as STRY, DAESI, or AC&ABC.

  • Good database administration skills.

  • Proficient in statistical analysis and computer skills.

  • The capacity to work with various institutions and resource people.

  • Effective oral and written communication abilities to manage programme orientation and report writing sessions.

  • Capacity for teamwork and travel

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Identifying Nodal Training Organizations (NTIs)

  2. Cooperation with facilitators of training and NTI coordinators

  3. Participate in the meetings of the screening committee that chooses candidates.

  4. Keep an eye on the training's methodology and quality.

  5. Ensure trainees submit projects to banks and maintain contact with bankers

  6. Keep track of and evaluate training institutions' handholding efforts

  7. Obtain a certificate of use from training facilities

  8. List inventive techniques used by training facilities

  9. Compiling success stories of agribusiness owners and input dealers

  10. Updating data on projects that are approved and pending

  11. Cooperation with financial institutions, state governments, and agribusiness firms

  12. Publication of newsletters, posters, and electronic bulletins.

  13. Carry out field research, refresher training programmes, and data gathering.

  14. Participation in/organization of programmes for bankers' sensitization
