National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development (NABARD) has recently released a notification for Student Internship Scheme (SIS) 2021-22 and invited eligible and interested candidates to apply for NABARD SIS Recruitment from 09 February to 05 March 2021. National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development (NABARD) has recently released a notification for Student Internship Scheme (SIS) 2021-22 and invited eligible and interested candidates to apply for NABARD SIS Recruitment from09 February to 05 March 2021. Candidates can directly apply from the official website - nabard.org. 

As per reports, the scheme will be implemented for 8-12 weeks between 01 April 2021 to 31 August 2021 (Orientation-1 week, Collection of data/Field visit- 2 to 4 weeks, Draft report3 to 4 weeks, finalization of report 2 to 3 weeks). 

Moreover, the subsidiary of NABARD ‘NABFOUNDATION’ is registered as a Section 8 company, fully owned by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), India’s apex level institution in the field of rural development. 

Starting Date of Online Application- 09 February 2021 

Last Date for Submitting Online Application - 05 March 2021

NABARD SIS Details 

NABARD SIS 2021-22 - 75 Seats (65 seats for Regional Offices/TEs 10 seats for Head Office) 

NABARD SIS Salary: 

  • Stipend - Rs. 18000/- per month {Minimum 8 weeks (2 Months) to maximum 12 weeks (3 months}

  • Field visit allowance (including of all expenditure)-maximum for 30 days - Rs. 2000 per day (For 8 NER States) and Rs. 1500 per day (Excluding 8 NER States)

  • Travel allowance (For onward & return journey from HQ to District/Local HQ and back to HQ) by AC-III Class (AC-II may be permitted where ticket in AC-III is not available) on submission of tickets/other documentary proofs) - Rs. 6000/-per head (maximum)

  • Miscellaneous expenses on declaration basis - Rs. 2000 per head

 Eligibility Criteria for NABARD SIS  Posts 

Students pursuing post-graduate degree (having completed first year) in Agriculture and allied disciplines (Veterinary, Fisheries, etc.), Agri-business, Economics, Social Sciences and Management from Institutes/ Universities of repute or Students pursuing 5 years integrated courses including Law and in 4th year of their course and Indian Students studying abroad are eligible for SIS 2021-22.
