To make women self-reliant & motivate them to earn while sitting at home, the Modi government has started Pradhan Mantri Free Silai Machine Yojana. Free Silai machines will be provided to more than 50000 women in every state. It will be beneficial to economically weaker women from both rural and urban areas.
PM, Narendra Modi said that the benefit of this Scheme will be given to all the women of the country. To make their life easier, through this scheme women can earn just by sitting at home comfortably, without going outside.
Purpose of Free Silai Machine Yojana

Unemployment has increased so much in our country due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Life has become so difficult for everyone including the women, who are self-dependent and have no one to support them.

There are many unemployed women, who are struggling a lot in their life.

This scheme was launched to provide those women financial assistance so that they can be self-reliant & independent.
Benefits of the Scheme

Under this scheme, women of the country will be given a free sewing machine without taking any money.

This is being told by the central government that they can do any job under this scheme. There are more than 50000 women in the state & free machines will be given to them.

Eligibility for Free Silai Machine

Under this scheme, the age of women should be between 18 years to 40 years.

The annual income of the husband of the laboring women should not exceed 1,20,000. And, If their annual income is more, then that woman will not be able to apply for this scheme.
How to Apply for PM Free Silai Machine Yojana 2022

Any woman who is interested & eligible can apply for the scheme.

For this, first of all, you have to go to the official website of the Government of India.

After this, you have to download the form of Free Sewing Machine Yojana.

All the information sought in the application form has to be filled in properly such as name, address, mobile number, etc.

After filling in all the required information, the photocopies of all the relevant documents have to be attached with the form.

Now submit the application form to your nearest block.

After this, your application will be verified by the officials of the office.

And, when the verification is completed, then you will be given a sewing machine for free under the Pradhan Mantri Free Silai Machine Yojana.
