At present, condition of farmers in the country is not very good and they often disturbed due to rains, hailstorm and drought. In view of these conditions, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, popularly known as PM-Kisan scheme was started by Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. It was minister Piyush Goyal who started this minimum support scheme. He introduced the scheme along with the budget in February 2019.
PM-Kisan Yojana has been started for those farmers who have less than 2 hectares of land. These farmers will get Rs. 6000 annually in the bank accounts so that they do farming efficiently. However, farmers will get Rs. 6000 in three different phase. In each stage they will be given Rs. 2000. The best thing is that money will directly reach in the beneficiary's bank account through DBT and information will be available through SMS. Under PM-Kisan scheme, the government will spend about 75,000 crores in a year.
How to check status of PM-Kisan Samman Yojana?

Step 1: To know the status, first go to the official website of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana - pmkisan.gov.in
Step 2: After going to the website, click on the "Farmers corner" in the menu bar.
Step 3: After tapping farmers corner, you will be able to see three options. Click on the option that says "Beneficiary status"
Step 4: A box will appears on the screen here fill in your details like;

Step 5: After entering Aadhaar, account number or mobile number, click on "Get Data".
Step 6: After tapping "Get Data" you will be able to see your PM-Kisan status. Here, details of your three installments will be shown.
After filling the correct details, you will get all the information related to the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme. Hence make sure you enter your registration number, registration date, account number, first, second and third installment information.
