Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PM Awas Yojana) is a scheme launched by the Government in India, which aims to provide affordable houses to the people in urban & rural areas. But now buying a house in Ghaziabad, Delhi-NCR will be expensive.

Under the PM Awas Yojana in Ghaziabad, the price of houses has been increased by Rs 1.5 lakh. The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has increased the price of houses under the Samajwadi Awas Yojana (Affordable Scheme) by 15%. This proposal has been approved in the GDA board meeting.

  • Indraprastha Yojana (for BHK): 190-Vacant House, 24.10-Old Rate, 28.10- New Rate

  • Koel Ankle (2 BHK): 397 – Vacant House, 27.60 – Old Rate, 30.90 – New Rate

Earlier its name was Indira Awas Yojana. It was changed in March 2016. According to the Ministry of Rural Development 1, 03, 01,107 houses have been approved in all States & Union Territories. The beneficiaries whose names will be in this list and PMAY-G new revised list will be able to take the advantage of this scheme & they will also be able to build a Pucca Houses & get money for it.

How to Check Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana List

There are two ways to check “Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana List”

  • Under this scheme, the government is providing funds to the weaker sections of rural areas to build Pucca Houses, those who have old houses; the central government is helping them to build Pucca House. If someone wants to build a house in the plains, then Rs 1, 20,000 for them & if someone wants to build a house in the hilly areas, then the central government is helping them with Rs 1, 30,000.

  • The government will provide Pucca Houses to 1 crore people by the year 2022. Under this scheme, the beneficiaries will be selected according to the 2011 census. Money will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of the poor families to build houses in all these areas.

In this scheme, New Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Punjab, Tripura, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Goa, Kerala, etc. have got the maximum benefit. Beneficiaries of rural areas are more present, those who want to get their pucca house, and they should apply soon to get money through the online medium under PM Awas Yojana.

Eligibility for Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana: 

  • Following sections can avail the benefits of this scheme-

  • The class i.e. not strong financially.

  • Any woman.

  • Middle class 1 & 2.

  • Scheduled Castes & Tribes.

  • Low-income people.

  • Must not be an adult member aged 16years to 59years.

  • Women headed households, those who do not have any adult members between the age of 16 years to 59 years.

  • Families in which there isn’t any literate adult member above the age of 25 years.

  • Families where no there isn’t any disabled member or any physically unwell member.

  • A landless family, which works as a laborer.

  • The family whose annual income is within Rs 3 lakh to 6 lakh.
