The National Agricultural Science Fair is to be held from the 9th of March to the 11th of March 2022. The venue of the event will be IARI Pusa ground, Delhi. The event is going to be organized by the ICAR.
About Pusa Krishi Vigyan Mela
This is an annual event and is celebrated with great enthusiasm every year. Large numbers of scientists, private institutions, organizations, and farmers participate in it. The fair aims to spread awareness among farmers about the new advancing technologies that are being implemented in the field of agriculture.
It also aims to educate the farmers about the practices of sustainable agriculture and also about how they can utilize it to grow healthy crops. It is also going to educate about the usage of agrochemicals and various schemes that can benefit them.
The Main Attractions of Pusa Krishi Vigyan Mela
The fair this year is going to be celebrated on a national level. Scientists, farmers, and other people related to the field of agriculture are going to participate in it. The main attractions of the fair include live demonstrations of the technologies that are used in the production of Rabi crops, the technologies that are used in the protection of vegetables and flower cultivations.
There will be displays and sales of various farm equipment, innovative farmer products, and machinery by the ICAR and other private companies. Sales of seeds, saplings, and various naturally made products such as juices, varieties of pickles, fruits, etc will also be there.
Some of the other attractions of the fair include free-of-cost arrangements for farmers, distribution of farm literature, display of irrigation technology to use water efficiently, sales of bio-fertilizers and agrochemicals, free water and soil testings, and national flower show.
