“There are a total of 150 students currently studying in the institution,” said Dr Rita Aggarwal, Director. “There are 40 staff members teaching bachelors and diploma courses in Intellectual Disability (ID) and Intellectual or Developmental Disability (IDD),” she added.

The institution is also honored with the National Award bestowed by then President, Dr Pranab Mukherjee and the FICCI Award by the former Chief Minister of UP, Akhilesh Yadav.

“Today, around 40 students are appointed at various organizations in Agra,” said Dr Aggarwal.

NGOs like ‘Tears’ should be motivated, and their work must be disseminated to every citizen, as such institutions have the capability to bring a significant change in society.
