TNAU – Undergraduate Admission 2021: Find Important Details Inside

Tamil Nadu Agriculture University is rated as one of the best agricultural universities in India by ICAR, New Delhi. TNAU has a centralized admission process conducted by the Tamil Nadu Agriculture University every year. TNAU UG admission process is applicable to Tamil Nadu Agriculture University but also to constituent colleges. There are a total of 1600 colleges under TNAU.

 Undergraduate Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should have passed all the subjects in academic stream of the qualifying examination with 10+2 years of schooling under board of higher secondary education of Government of Tamil Nadu/ CBSE/ ISC or other state government boards that are recognized eligible for all undergraduate programs.

Minimum qualifying marks: The Candidates must have at least 55% aggregate of all four required subjects.

No of attempts allowed: The maximum number of permissible attempts to pass the qualifying examination is 3 for SCs / STs and 2 for all other communities.

Age limit: The candidate must not have completed 21 years of age on the first day of July of the admission year. For SC/ ST there is no age limit.

The following documents are required to be uploaded for verification while filling up the TNAU Application form:

  • 10th marksheet

  • 12th marksheet

  • Last qualifying examination certificate

  • Aadhar card details

  • A valid and active Email ID

  • An active mobile number

  • Scanned images of Candidate’s Passport sized photograph

  • Scanned images of candidate’s signature.

  • Banking details

Application Fee:

General/ OBC: Rs 600

SC/ST: Rs 300
