UGC NET 2022: NTA Begins Registrations Process, Direct Link to Apply Inside

UGC NET 2022: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has begun the application process for the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) 2022. Candidates can apply for the UGC NET 2022 examination at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The deadline for applications is May 20.

The exam dates have yet to be announced, but papers will be administered in two shifts on exam days, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The application fee is Rs.1,100 for general candidates, Rs. 550 for General-EWS, OBC-NCL candidates, and Rs. 275 for SC, ST, PwD, and third-gender candidates.

UGC NET 2022: How to Apply?

  • Step 1: Go to ntanet.nic.in, the official website.

  • Step 2: Go to the and click on the 'UGC NET December 2021/June 2022 registration' link.

  • Step 3: You will be taken to a new page.

  • Step 4: Enter your personal information and register.

  • Step 5: Log in with the newly generated registration number.

  • Step 6: Complete the form, upload images, and download.

  • Step 7: Make your payment.

The UGC administers the National Eligibility Test (NET) every year to determine Indian nationals' eligibility for Assistant Professorships, Junior Research Fellowships, or both, at Indian universities and colleges. The exam will be computer-based and held in two shifts on exam days, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The exam will cover 82 subjects.
