Weather experts said that a well-marked low pressure area that lies over the Comorin area & neighboring equatorial Indian ocean could intensify into a depression over the Lakshadweep-Maldives region and adjoining southeast Arabian Sea by tonight or early morning tomorrow. At first, the weather system will move in a northwest direction, going towards Southeast Arabian Sea and might intensify further as conditions are favourable for further strengthening. Therefore, the fourth Cyclone of this year named 'Maha' is all set to form in the Arabian Sea.

To recall, cyclone Maha will be the fourth Cyclone in Arabian Sea after Vayu, Hikaa, Kyaar. Generally, the number of Cyclones is more in Bay as compared to Arabian Sea. However, in 2019, the situation is different and Arabian Sea already had 3 Cyclones and the fourth is in line to form very soon.

Now talking about the weather in Delhi - the national capital will remain cloudy for the next two days because of air pollution and peripheral effects of cyclone Kyarr, according to the India Meteorological Department. A Centre for Science & Environment report showed that fireworks on Diwali night has played an “big” role in the rapid deterioration of air quality in Delhi-NCR.  People have been asked to remain alert till Friday as pollution level can further increase.
