Although the Covid -19 pandemic has been curbed to a certain extent. Covid is still prevalent among the masses hence its always essential to keep your masks on and maintain social distancing at all times possible

  • Plan your sweets

Refraining from sweets is something really hard to do hence it's better to plan out your Diwali sweets rather than be forced to watch others eat sweets in front of you. Use whole grain flours, seasonal fruits, nuts and seeds, and natural sweeteners to make your desserts, this will totally help you to continue being healthy while also not missing out on the amazing sweets.

  • Say no to your electronic gadgets.

Yeah, we know it’s really hard to say not to your electronic devices, especially when you have spent close to a year on them and how gotten more used to living in the virtual world than in the real world. However, This is Diwali we are talking about so get off your phones, put that season of Mirzapur or ashram that you have been binge-watching lately on hold and go celebrate this Diwali with your loved ones

  • Get rid of the butter (If you can)

You can control the amount and type of items you use when cooking at home. For example, if you're preparing butter chicken at home with a Diwali celebration, swap out the butter for some healthy oil and use it sparingly. You may also use skimmed milk instead of heavy cream to achieve the same texture and flavour. This helps reduce the intake of Cholesterol rich food into your systems.

  • Festival of Lights or Festival of Delicacies

Yeah, Diwali definitely means overloading on delicious sweets, yes. Except for of course son papdi, yeah those are only meant to be eaten when you dont have anything left. Jokes aside yeah don’t overload and end up having to be stuck in the bathroom due to diarrhea, believe me when I say, it sucks.

  • Don’t Give in to the Firecracker Temptation.

Say no to crackers as they are the prime cause of Noise and Air Pollution. They do affect everyone from your pets to every human being in the area.

  • To all those who ignored my previous tip
