Bhartiya Kisan Union (Dakaunda) Secretary General Jagmohan Singh said they will submit a list of demands to the Centre and State Government after the protest march.

November 19 is the day when Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2021 announced the repeal of three farm laws. Hence the Samyukt Kisan Morcha has decided to celebrate it on the same day this year.

Besides this, 31 farmers' unions have announced to hold a protest march to Raj Bhavan on the 26th of November.

Jamhoori Kisan Sabha State President Satnam Singh Ajnala announced after a meeting of 32 farmers' unions at Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall: in front of their house that “We have appealed to all Punjabis to celebrate the day like Diwali and light up candles in front of their houses.”

He said at a press conference that a peaceful rally would be organized in Chandigarh on November 26, where four representatives would meet with the Punjab CM to prepare a new memorandum and present pending claims.

"We demand that no one should be punished for burning stubble. Farmers don't get their machines on time.  They are hard-pressed to sow wheat for which the peak time is between November 1 and 7”, he added.

Thirty-one farmer unions of the state have announced to march towards Raj Bhavan in Chandigarh on November 26 to mark the anniversary of the ‘Delhi Kisan Morcha’ against the now-repealed three central farm laws.

The decisions were announced at a meeting held at Jalandhar’s Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall.

At the end of the march, they present two charters outlining their demands from both the centre and state governments.
