Accompanied by other officials and members of Krishak Agritech, a renowned farmer-centric organization operating across the Himalayan States, the event celebrated the successful export of fresh apricots. Krishak Agritech's expansion beyond domestic borders is a testament to the organization's dedication to introducing Ladakh's produce to global consumers.

The Chief Horticulture Officer, Ali Raza, shared the impressive statistics of Krishak Agritech's accomplishments: 6 metric tons of fresh apricots have already been exported from Kargil, along with an impressive 31 metric tons from Leh. These fruits have found their way to various prominent markets across India, including Hyderabad, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and the Delhi/NCR region. Raza attributed the resounding success of this initiative to the unwavering support from all stakeholders involved.

Beyond the immediate economic benefits, this milestone illuminates the tremendous potential for further growth in the agricultural sector of the region.
