  • Government to provide subsidy on Fertilizers

    Prices of fertilizers are increasing in India. Government so far has made a number of efforts to avoid this. But now as the prices have increased, the government is offering subsidy on the fertilizers like UREA, DAP, MOP, SSP. This will assist the farmers in managing their farms and supplying food to the public at controlled rates.

  • Fair price shops to open all days of the month

    Government has ordered the Fair price shops to open for all days of the month. This has been ordered so that the poor and marginal section of the society can afford the food items. The stores have been told to follow all COVID instructions.

  • Protesting farmers condemn Hissar lathi charge

    Protesting farmers have said that use of violence against peacefully protesting farmers in Hissar was not warranted. A number of farmers from Delhi are planning to go to Hissar to continue the protests there.

  • Australian IPL players return after Government approval

    Australian IPL players are back in Australia, after the Australian Government approved their return to Australia from Maldives, where they were resting. Australian Government has banned travelers from India, hence the request for entry.

    Inflation of food items prices in April 2021 was at its highest in 6 months, way ahead even when compared to inflation in April 2020. Inflation on Eggs, Meat & Fish, with pulses was more than 10 percent.

    Granarolo, an Italian company producing milk and milk based products has taken over its British distributor, Granarolo UK. This has been done as part of Granarolo's policy of expanding its operations overseas.

  • Belgium the biggest producer of Processed potato food, hurt by Corona

    Belgium produces 16 time more potatoes than it needs. It processes these and is the biggest exporter of Processed potato food items in the world. With the Corona, there is no International trade, hence the potato farmers don't have anyone to sell to, causing these farmers hurt and pain.
