  • Government to procure Oxycare Systems for Rs 322.5 Crores

    Indian government has released funds to procure 1,50,000 units of Oxycare systems. These machines will automatically calculate SpO2 and adjust automatically the Oxygen supply to the patients. This will save the time and effort of the medical staff who had to do this manually.

  • A corona virus variant is not "Indian Variant"

    A new variant of Coronavirus has been named B.1.617, and it can be a cause of concern to the world. Some of the reports in international media are suggesting that this is an "Indian Variant". Indians are calling this a lie as the term Indian was not used by the naming authority WHO.

  • Moderate food insecurity in Europe and Central Asia

    Corona pandemic which has reduced agricultural production is responsible for lack of sufficient and nutritious food, in Europe and Central Asia, for low-income part of their population.

  • Most of HP, Punjab, Haryana and Uttarakhand to see heavy rainfall

    Most of the districts of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Uttarakhand are to receive heavy rainfall today. Some districts of Bihar including Rohtas, Champaran and Purnia will see heavy rainfall too. Jagatsinghpur district of Odisha and Peddapalle of Telangana will see thunderstorms with lightening.

  • PM-KISAN scheme 8th Installment tomorrow

    PM-KISAN scheme under which Rs. 2,000 are transferred into the accounts of eligible farmers will transfer the 8th installment in these accounts tomorrow. A transfer of Rs. 19,000 Crore and more will take place tomorrow.

  • Healthy diet are more expensive than basic diets

    According to FAO, healthy diets cost 5 times more than basic diets. They have recommended Government intervention to make these healthy diets cheaper. Studies on the subject has found that if everyone in a country has healthy diets, the food costs will be much lower and the problem of pollution will also be solved to some extent.

  • Farmers return to protest after harvest

    Farmer who took a break from protests to complete the harvesting tasks in their farms, are now back on Delhi borders to protest. More farmers are expected at the protest site as their harvesting activities are completed.
